Looms of a grand scale engaged multiple weavers who would sit side by side, often for years on end to complete large rugs that would adorn and spacious rooms. The result would be the creation of exquisite examples of the weavers' art that demonstrate the artistic collaboration and seamless workmanship achieved by these great artisans.
