The client brief for this project was to imbue a classic East Coast US feel to this home; retaining the cottage-like feel yet celebrating the generosity of light and space provided by the architecture. Dwell by Jo looked towards both the client’s informed style and the inspired architecture of the home to create a refined design aesthetic.  The openness of the home to the environment led to colours and textures taking their cues from nature – recycled timbers, exposed sandstone, natural linens, leaf green tones, autumnal accents of burnt oranges. The Vintage Nayoma construction creates a patina-like effect, the lustre of the green silk contrasting with the earthiness of the off-white wool to create a timeless, rustic elegance.
