Jan Kath, Benjamin Jay Shand, and Lucy Montgomery each bring a distinct and elevated perspective to contemporary rug design, united by a shared commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and artistic integrity. Jan Kath, celebrated globally for his hand-knotted masterpieces, fuses traditional oriental motifs with minimalist and photorealistic elements, drawing inspiration from urban culture and his native Ruhr region. Studio Shand, through its SUPERGRAPHICS and SUPERNOVA collections for Cadrys, explores the intersection of architecture and art, offering customizable designs that are as functional as they are expressive. Lucy Montgomery, known for her refined aesthetic, debuts a border-focused collection handcrafted by GoodWeave-certified artisans in India, marrying ethical production with timeless elegance. Together, these designers and their collaborations with Cadrys redefine the rug as a narrative, tactile work of art that seamlessly blends heritage with contemporary vision.
