Jan Kath
Born into the third generation of a family of rug dealers, Jan Kath travelled with his father to weaving workshops in Iran and Nepal as a boy. Settling in Kathmandu in his early twenties, he began as a quality inspector and went on to build one of the most celebrated names in the contemporary hand-knotted rug, pairing classical structure with a daring modern eye.
Through Cadrys, his rugs can be seen, felt and ordered in Australia, with expert guidance in our Sydney and Melbourne showrooms.

Steve Cordony
The son of a builder and an interior decorator, Steve Cordony began as an intern at Belle and rose to become its interior design editor. Today he is one of Australia's most recognised stylists, known for rooms that are refined, layered and deeply personal.
AT HOME, his inaugural rug collection, was created exclusively with Cadrys: rugs that look beautiful yet are made for everyday life, with subtle texture, warm neutrals and timeless stripes, for indoors and out.

Kate Nixon
Kate Nixon's career in interiors, food styling and writing spans more than two decades, including fifteen years as Houses and Interiors Editor at Australian House & Garden. Today she leads her eponymous, multi-award-winning Sydney design studio and home boutique, creating homes that are classic and comfortable, relaxed and inviting, equally at ease with elegant entertaining and everyday family life.
With Cadrys, Kate has designed Cinda and Isla: two rugs that carry her layered, liveable warmth underfoot, woven in India by GoodWeave-certified artisans and offered in three generous sizes.

Chloe Matters is an interior designer and the founder of Matters + Made, a Sydney studio working across residential, hospitality and commercial interiors, guiding each project from first concept through to completion.
Raw Edges, her debut rug collection with Cadrys, is shaped by the slow geometry of stone: irregular outlines drawn from natural rock, and layered borders that fray and gather like sediment.
